Wow... where to start. My husband has been in construction his entire life. He has recently (September) closed down his construction business. He is now working in a sales position and not making any money. We have recently lost our house to forclosure and our vehicles to the bank. Our rent is due in 14 days and I am not sure where that is going to come from. We have never been in a situation like this and I just spend all day crying. I cant imagine the thought of having to live on the streets with my 2 year old twins. It just kills me inside to think about the life that they are living already. I would appreciate any help or advice!!!

Thank you for your kind words. Sadly nothing has improved especially given the current economy. I have trouble with everything now, buying food, filling up the car with gas, etc. I cannot apply for most assistence through my state because on paper my family makes too much money to qualify. I have looked for additional income, and do work as much a possible but it never sems to be enough.

I see you posted this back in March... I surely hope things have improved for you and your family. Have you applied for food stamps etc? There is no shame in accepting whatever help you can get... I also have 2 year old twins -- I try to take a lesson from them and just keep smiling. If you have any questions about state assistance or tips to making some money etc -- don't hesitate to write...God bless you..
